Warehouse Administration Officer

Kilcoy Pastoral Company Limited (KPC) is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Warehouse/Cold Stores department. This position will report to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, while working closely with other members of the Warehouse and Operational departments, providing logistical support to the Company.   

This is a permanent position and will be based on KPC’s Green/Gold shift lifestyle roster which is 4days on 4 days off, 3 days on 3 days off. This roster includes weekend work and the hours will be 8am – 8pm.

Key Responsibilities – Included but not limited to;

  • Completing daily paperwork pertaining to Export Documentation and QA requirements etc for the shift.
  • Process payroll and attendance databases in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Work with the Supervisors to ensure all compliance requirements are completed on time.
  • Work with the team to ensure all SOP’S are current, communicated and documented.
  • Ensure Supervisors complete their daily tasks, through providing adequate support structures.
  • Responsible for collating and presenting all KPI’S for the Warehouse area.
  • Support the planning teams to ensure the strategies are communicated daily.
  • Assist Supervisors to achieve best practice outcomes with regard to food and people safety.
  • Work closely with and support the Tutors on each shift to ensure training requirements are met.
  • Ensure an efficient and professional flow of information from the warehouse area and external.

The ideal candidate will bring;

  • Demonstrated administration experience with a focus on accuracy and developing /maintaining systems of work.
  • Previous experience within a stores and/or logistics environment would be highly regarded.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite - particularly Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of the 5S Lean Manufacturing Guide an advantage.
  • Great attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and in written form.
  • Team player with organizational skills to prioritise multiple tasks to achieve deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
